Marmaris

Palm trees, beaches and good vibes, Marmaris itself is a lovely tourist town with good food and relaxing atmosphere. However the real beauty of this town lays around it. Unique nature, beautiful ocean and rich history. It’s definitely a wonderful place where to spend a holiday.  

Dalyan

Dalyan is mostly known for Iztuzu beach – a well-known nesting ground for loggerhead turtles. However Dalyan has so much more than just a beach to offer. 

Once again history can be seen all around this town in forms of ancient ruins and tombs that belong to the kings of old. Natural hot springs and mud baths are just a drive away but what really makes Dalyan special is that there are no buildings higher than few storeys. Thanks to this it still has a small town feel

Fethiye

Fethiye could once again be called a tourist town. It is calm and beautiful. However similarly to Marmaris, the beauty of Fethiye lies outside of its’ borders. Some of the most beautiful valleys and beaches can be found south of Fethiye. Going the other way is just as exciting with desert-like sand dunes and deep beautiful canyons.

Pamukkale

Pamukkale is literally a mountain made out of minerals. It’s situated on top of a hot spring. Over time the minerals, rising from the earth, have sedimented into a huge white rock. You could easily spend a day here with its’ nurturing muds and blue lagoons

However if you are not a fan of rock pools and mud then there’s a cherry on top of the hill. This cherry is called Hieropolis – an ancient city full of well-preserved ruins just waiting to be discovered.

Antalya

Everyone can find something to enjoy in Antalya, which is considered the center of the Mediterranean. The two main beaches outside of town are a sun paradise loungers in the summer and draw tourists from all over Europe.

While the old town area, tucked away in the heart of the city is a beautiful sight to explore with its cobblestone streets, bordered by rickety palaces from the Ottoman Era.

For tourists who prefer to use Antalya as a base, there are tons of attractions outside the city, in addition to the impressive collection of Hellenistic and Roman marble sculptures housed in the Antalya museum, one of the best museums in the country.

Antalya, in particular, is a convenient starting point for day trips to some of Turkey’s most famous Greco-Roman antiquities. Notably the numerous remains at side and the nearby towns of Aspendos and purge.
